How we started
BeachMoto Aid began as a heartfelt initiative among local residents in Daytona Beach who recognized a common struggle in our community: many families were eligible for essential benefits but didn’t know how to access them. As we connected with neighbors in areas like Ormond Beach and Holly Hill, we found countless families missing out on vital programs such as SNAP and Florida KidCare. This inspired us to create a dedicated service to bridge that gap.
Realizing that many residents were overwhelmed by the process of enrollment, a small group of us brainstormed ways to raise the necessary funds to support our mission. We decided that vehicle donations could be the perfect funding mechanism. This allowed us to utilize the value of unused cars to directly support benefit research and connect our fellow neighbors with the vital resources they deserve.
Our mission
Our mission at BeachMoto Aid is to empower every resident of Daytona Beach to access the benefits they qualify for, ensuring a better quality of life for families in our community. Through our free research service, we focus on connecting individuals with local programs, including SNAP, Florida Medicaid, Temporary Cash Assistance, WIC, and LIHEAP. We believe that no one should face the challenges of accessing these resources alone, and we strive to create a more informed community for everyone.
